IEEE EMBS Student Paper Competition

The IEEE Engineering in Medicine & Biology Society sponsors a paper competition for EMBS Student Members. Students should submit their entry to the Conference as a Contributed Paper. Your Faculty Advisor will be required to endorse your submission by submitting a Nomination Form for your entry in the EMBC Student Paper Competition. Student Paper Competition Guidelines Advisor Nomination Form (PDF file; Word file) - deadline 12 May 2008

Submissions are evaluated on merit, structure, clarity of composition and originality. Each submission undergoes the same review process as regular papers. Finalists must attend the Conference and present their papers as either a platform or poster presentation and at a special session for the Student Paper Competition. Each Finalist will receive free conference registration and partial travel support. First, second and third place winners will be selected. Winners will receive monetary awards.

Nomination of Finalists: 1 July 2008
