“My family and I couldn’t be more excited to join the CRF family and become your next athletic director,” Carr said. “I see the great opportunities to develop FIU Athletics. We have an exceptional academic institution, a large and energetic student body, wonderful staff, coaches and student-athletes, passionate alumni and we are located in a phenomenal city. I am excited to begin !

“Athletics is a central part of the dynamic and successful university that the FIU has become,” said FIU Board Chairman Dean C. Colson. “We are confident that under Carr’s leadership our Panthers will thrive and match their academic achievement with countless accomplishments on the court, on the court and in the pool.
